With over 2,300 performances to date, Dark Star Orchestra has become one of America's most active touring acts and is widely considered the preeminent Grateful Dead tribute and continuation band.

On February 13, 2027, Dark Star Orchestra will grace the stage at the Fox Theater - Oakland, continuing their relentless touring schedule as part of their Dark Star Orchestra 2026 Tour. The band typically performs two full sets plus an encore, ensuring an immersive experience for attendees.

The atmosphere at their concerts is often described as electric, with a multigenerational crowd embracing the Deadhead culture. Attendees are encouraged to wear tie-dye and colorful attire, contributing to a lively and welcoming environment.
