Great DSO show, but the curfew?!!!

I love the Libbey Bowl...it is very intimate, laid-back, and has great acoustics. However, they have a 10PM curfew which is really an unfortunate pain! Even Ojai residents comment that they wish it were 11PM, or at least 10:30. What's curious about it is that restaurants and other venues in the area play live music, with their doors and windows open, until much later. DSO apparently did not know about the curfew, or they might have taken a shorter break, as they inferred when they came back on. Regardless, for bands that play long shows and that jam, if there is a hard 10PM curfew, the shows need to to be scheduled for an earlier start. Most DSO shows I've seen have run 3-3 1/2 hours of actual performance time. This was a great show, with the band really cooking, but unfortunately they were limited to less than 2 1/2 hours because of the ridiculous curfew. Oh...and the venue ran out of beer before the break.
